Server administration & website maintenance
The work continues after launch. We help maintain the server environment, application code and integrations that your website or platform depends on.
Discuss your project ↗Look after the platform behind the website
A web platform connects application code, databases, integrations and hosting. When a problem appears, the cause may sit in more than one of those places. Our development and infrastructure experience lets us work across that boundary.
What maintenance can cover
- Server setup, architecture and administration for web applications.
- WordPress, WooCommerce and custom PHP/MySQL maintenance.
- Troubleshooting application, database and integration issues.
- Performance investigation and targeted technical improvements.
- Release support and ongoing functionality changes.
Application knowledge and infrastructure together
Ruben leads ArAgile’s backend and infrastructure direction. His work includes setting up and maintaining the servers behind client platforms, as well as the custom application logic and data models running on them.
Narek’s front-end and experimentation experience helps cover issues involving interfaces, responsive behaviour and client-side functionality. The scope can therefore include the website experience as well as its backend environment.
Start with a defined maintenance scope
We first review the platform, the hosting environment and the work you need help with. The discussion should establish responsibilities, access, release processes, backup arrangements and the expected support scope.
We agree the support hours, response times and service commitments as part of the project scope, so both teams have a clear understanding of the arrangement.
Common questions
Can you maintain a site built by another team?
Yes. We start by reviewing the codebase, hosting and dependencies so we can understand the platform and agree a practical maintenance scope.
Can you help with both application and server issues?
Yes. Our work covers PHP/MySQL applications, WordPress and WooCommerce, integrations and server administration.
